No Breathing Space for Drug Cartels in 2026 — NDLEA

The agency has declared that its strong operational footing at the beginning of 2026 sends a clear warning to drug cartels that there will be no vacuum or breathing space for illicit drug activities in the country.

According to him, the renewed momentum reflects the agency’s determination to sustain pressure on criminal networks involved in drug trafficking and substance abuse, regardless of their tactics or reach.

He further urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and to continue providing credible and timely information to the agency, stressing that public cooperation remains vital to winning the war against drugs.

He reminded citizens that the fight against substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking is a collective responsibility that requires the active involvement of all stakeholders. (NAN)
